More bunkers and waste areas were added to create greater penalt  ies for errant approach shots. Wildlife is abundant on this course. "GOLF Magazine" selected Hawks Run 62nd on its 1998 list of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." The Lost Oaks Course was added to the resort in 1997. Lost Oaks is another championship course consisting of tight, tree-lined fairways and strategically-placed bunkers.
